This is the age of information where everyday people are inundated by health messages whether it is on the radio, television or across the Internet. Therefore, many people cannot remain ignorant too long about such concepts as a diet high in fiber being good for them. Could this be our anti aging foods?

Now, consumers may not actually know the reason why particular foods are good for them, but they are yelled at on a daily basis that there specific Western diet will not provide them anywhere near an adequate daily fiber intake which goes a long way to combat the effects of aging.

We Do Love Processed Food And Do Not Get Enough Anti Aging Foods

Western man is the king of producing fatty foods that are already processed and ready to be consumed. America alone stands as the giant among industrialized nations for its ability to provide already prepared processed foods that can be popped it into a microwave and ready-to-eat in a minute.

Couple this with an increasingly sedentary lifestyle and the end results tend to have Western man aging at a quicker rate. The natural and anti aging foods that we gathered or grew ourselves such as vegetables, grains (traditional source of fiber) and fruits have been slowly eliminated from the diets of the always on the go, have no time modern man.

The consequences from living in this substitute society are astonishing. But even though you do not eat enough fruit and festivals each day, you are not in the minority.

Here’s the News

Those natural anti aging foods just mentioned is to be the backbone for providing long and healthy lives for many individuals. Although modern science has done a great way to increase human longevity, long live the lives today do not necessarily follow an active and healthy style.

This is due, in part, to what we eat. According to the American National Health And Nutrition Examination, 45 percent of Americans eat no fruit on a daily basis. Additionally, 22 percent eat no vegetables at all. On any given day, 30 percent of Americans eat three servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit per day. However, the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables each day are only eaten by nine percent of the population.

Children Trained In Bad Dietary Practices

Incredibly poor eating habits are one of the things that Americans have easily passed on to future generations. According to surveys published in the Journal Pediatrics, on any typical day more than 30 percent of American children eat fast food.

This has led to finding out that children in America today consume more calories, more fats, more carbohydrates and sugars than ever before. This also translates into the fact that American children consume less fruits along with less non-starchy vegetables resulting in taking in quite less fiber than any previous generation.

This results in health consequences to the present generation of children that are overwhelmingly frightening. This leads to no one questioning the fact that leading health officials predict that we are now suffering a child’s obesity epidemic in the country today.

Many diseases associated with aging are known to be connected to dietary practices that lead to certain complications such as people suffering from Parkinson’s disease experiencing constipation due to nerve degeneration that slows down bowel muscles. Long maintained diets high in fiber are anti aging foods that can help prevent these types of situations.
