Why are we quick to select prescriptive measures over anti aging herbs that can heal us naturally? There are so many natural healers right in our kitchen cabinets and we fail to realize that natural solutions are more effective at treating the cause of our problems. When you want to eliminate the issue go straight to the root of the problem and eradicate that first.
Anti aging herbs can do a lot to preserve our health and protect us from many ailments including stroke.
Any blockage can cause a stroke. Blood platelets begin to clump, reducing flow to the central nervous system and inducing inflammation that can damage nerve cells and other tissue. Ginkgo Biloba can ease these problems by helping to reduce the risk of strokes and repair damaged nervous tissue and increase mental sharpness.
Age-related changes do occur in the digestive system. The salivary glands may produce less saliva, thus fewer digestive enzymes causing the stomach to slow its production of gastric juices which in turn affects the liver, the pancreas and the colon. Herbs can benefit the digestive system in many ways.
* Bitter herbs, such as blessed thistle can increase digestive juices and aid in digestion.
* Anti Aging herbs rich in mucilage, such as slippery elm bark or marshmallow root, can relieve inflammation and soothe irritated tissue.
There are also many problems that summer brings to the surface but anti aging herbs can minimize those problems:
* Soothe summer sun-burned skin with Aloe Vera and baking soda; this combination soothes on contact and the baking soda will diminish any blisters. Baking soda was used just 20 to 30 years ago in hospitals for burn patients. It helped to keep infection down, take away the stinging sensation and relieve most of the redness while Aloe Vera speeds the healing and keeps the inflammation down. 24 hours later and you’ll look more tanned than burned.
* One of the best anti aging herbs that is rarely used but great for skin irritations is Alum. Dissolve a pinch of alum powder into a tablespoon of water and dab onto irritated skin with a cotton ball. This Ayurvedic remedy treats redness, inflammation and itching. Next, rub a bit of Aloe Vera onto the same area and it will gently cool and moisturize the area.
* Are those summer mosquitoes after you already? There are two remedies for before and after a bug bite:
* Preparing your skin before bugs begin to bite; prevent bug bites with Neem oil, a natural bug repellent. This oil has a bitter strong odor and bugs keep their distance. You can also combine this with Citronella Oil and spray around your home. Don’t use on your skin in large quantities or the smell will become more obvious to you.
* After a bug bite; heal fast by applying peppermint oil to ease the irritation. If the bite becomes swollen use Quercetin to reduce inflammation and speed up recovery.
* Another great kitchen cabinet solution is plain Oatmeal; didn’t think this could be an anti aging herb? Make a paste of oatmeal with a little water and spread the mixture over the bug bite. The oatmeal draws out any toxins the bugs left. The toxins are what causes the inflammation and stinging sensation but plain Oatmeal can rescue you.
You can renew and revive your everyday health just by using common anti aging herbs to preserve and protect.
